Mindfulness through Music

Richard Sears, Rumiko Hayes, Michael Fitzpatrick, Stephen Hayes

Recently, renowned cellist Michael Fitzpatrick performed at the inauguration of the Center for Clinical Mindfulness & Meditation. A number of important guests were present, such as author/consultant Peter Block, black belt hall of fame member and author Stephen K. Hayes and his wife Rumiko, Union Institute & University’s President Roger Sublett and Provost Rich Hansen, and Drs. Rena Mei-Tal and Gus Ventura of the Cincinnati Gestalt Institute. Advisory board member David Sink drove all the way down from Michigan just to attend the event.

While I described what mindfulness is, everyone experienced it when Michael began playing. I invite you to watch the 3 minute clip below, and allow yourself to taste the experience.
